Constantine, a founding partner of the firm, has been recognised as a key figure for International Arbitration in the UK. Reza, a partner in the London office, has been recognised as a key figure for International Arbitration in the UK. Reza has represented clients as counsel and advocate in more than 90 arbitrations conducted under a variety of arbitration rules in many different jurisdictions. Reza has particular expertise in disputes arising in emerging markets with a focus on the telecoms, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Manish, a partner in the London office, is a dual-qualified English solicitor and Indian advocate. He has extensive experience of representing clients in both commercial and investment treaty arbitrations across a broad range of sectors (including energy, infrastructure, life sciences, telecommunications, and technology) and in arbitration-related court litigation. Manish is a Co-Chair of the LCIA’s Young International Arbitration Group and is consistently ranked as a leading practitioner in arbitration and public international law by major legal directories.

ABOUT HAMID ABDULKAREEM

Hamid, counsel in the London office, is an experienced arbitration practitioner and litigator, having regularly advised multinational companies on an extensive range of disputes, particularly within the energy and natural resources sector. He has played a lead role in multiple disputes arising from Nigeria’s deep offshore production sharing contracts, resulting in successful outcomes for his clients. Hamid is a current Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s Insolvency and International Arbitration Working Group, the Young Africa Chair for the Institute for Transnational Arbitration, and a member of the Lagos Court of Arbitration’s Young Arbitrators Network’s Advisory Board. He previously served as Co-Chair of the International Bar Association’s Arb40 subcommittee.

Kathryn, a partner in the Paris office of Three Crowns, has been recognised again as a key figure for International Arbitration in France, and on the Africa Desk. Kathryn acts for States and corporate clients in all types of disputes, including investment treaty and commercial.  She is also on the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, and publishes and speaks regularly on arbitration and international law – including, most recently, on emissions trading schemes and deep seabed mining. ABOUT CARMEN MARTINEZ LOPEZ

Carmen, a partner in the Madrid office, has appeared as advocate in numerous investment treaty and commercial arbitrations. She has handled arbitrations under the rules of the major arbitral institutions and ad hoc across a variety of jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Latin America and Spain. Carmen also sits as arbitrator. Carmen serves in a variety of leadership positions, including as the President of the British Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club (Club Español del Arbitraje), a Vice-President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, a member of the Arbitrator Appointment Committee of the Madrid Arbitration Court, and a team leader for the IBA Task Force for the Revision of the 2010 IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence. Carmen writes and speaks regularly on arbitration-related issues.

ABOUT LUKE SOBOTA

Luke, a founding partner of Three Crowns, continues to be recognised as a key figure for Investment Arbitration in the United States. Luke represents private and sovereign clients in some of their most significant commercial, investor-State, and inter-State arbitrations. Scott, a partner in the Washington, DC office, has a decade and a half of experience handling complex international investment and commercial arbitrations in the oil and gas, construction, energy, mining, gaming, defence, technology, and agribusiness sectors. In addition to his private practice in international arbitration, he has served as an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Department of State and at an international organisation. He is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches a course on advocacy in international arbitration.

Hugh Carlson is the Chief Executive Officer of Three Crowns, in which capacity he is responsible for the firm’s global operations and helps shape its strategy.
