Scott Vesel, a partner in the Bahrain office of Three Crowns, will be a speaker on the first session of the 2020 Russian Arbitration Day event. Vesel’s session, “Investment Arbitration,” will take place on Tuesday, 25 August, from 10:30 am – 12:40 pm Moscow time (GMT +3).

Vesel will speak on “Reasons for Reasons: Implications for ICSID Annulment of the Procedural Nature of the Requirement to State Reasons,” based on the Russian-language article of the same name he authored for the Russian Arbitration Center. The piece was part of New Horizons in International Arbitration – Issue 6.  An English version of the article is slated for publication later in 2020.
