Three Crowns to host panel on “Old dog, new tricks: how ISDS must innovate to resolve the disputes of the future” as part of LIDW 2025

Events 20th May 2025

Three Crowns will host a panel titled “Old dog, new tricks: how ISDS must innovate to resolve the disputes of the future”, in collaboration with CPR Institute’s Young Leaders in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Y-ADR) and Queen Mary University of London, as part of London International Disputes Week 2025.

Join us for an interactive session exploring how investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) can evolve to ensure that investors and states can prevent and resolve the disputes of the future. Panellists will provide a variety of viewpoints on how ISDS can help companies and states respond to global risks including climate change, AI, and other potential areas of future disputes.

Richard Trinick will moderate the discussion, featuring expert practitioners, arbitrators and state representatives Katrina Limond (A&O Shearman), Maxim Osadchiy (Queen Mary University of London), Cindy Rayo Zapata (Rayo Consultores), Ahmed Khafagy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt), and Rahul Donde (Donde Dispute Resolution).

The event will take place on Thursday 5 June, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, at the Three Crowns London office.
