Leilah Bruton to speak at the 2025 CIArb Nigeria Annual Conference

Leilah Bruton will speak at a panel on “AI in International Arbitration – Moving with the Times”, as part of the 2025 CIArb Nigeria Annual Conference.

This panel will explore the use of AI in the practice of arbitration and the opportunities, risks and challenges associated with its use.

Leilah will share her insights alongside fellow panellists Babou Diankha (Africa Regional Manager, Jus Mundi), Cristen Bauer (Director of External Affairs, CIArb), and Fernandez Marcus-Obiene (Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Justice Sector Reform and ICT), with Diane Okoko, FCIArb (Principal Partner, Marcus-Okoko & Co) moderating the session.

This year’s conference will focus on the theme “Connecting the Dots: Core Principles, Innovation and Meaningful Outcomes in ADR”, returning to the core principles of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and providing a platform for professionals to share, discuss, and enhance their dispute resolution strategies.

The conference will be held from Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 November at The Jewel Aedia in Lagos, with Leilah’s panel taking place on Friday 14 November from 9:00am to 10:15am.
