Leilah Bruton to speak at ICC United Kingdom Annual Arbitration & ADR Conference

Events 6th November 2025

Leilah Bruton will speak on a panel at the ICC United Kingdom Annual Arbitration & ADR Conference: Dispute Resolution – The Economic Perspective, on the topic of “Arbitral economics: Is third party funding a game-changer or a Pandora’s Box?”

This panel – featuring views from practitioners, funders and arbitrators – will take a deep dive into the costs of international arbitration and third party funding, including a review of how arbitral institutions and the UK government via the CJC review are tacking the issue.

Moderated by Ned Beale (Partner, Hausfeld), Leilah will speak alongside Geoff Nicholas (Managing Director, Buford Capital), Audley Sheppard KC (Twenty Essex), and Omar Tahir (Kings Chambers).

This flagship event brings together leading legal practitioners, funders, corporates, and government representatives to explore how today’s economic and geopolitical forces are transforming international dispute resolution.

The panel will be held on Wednesday 12 November from 12:00pm to 1:10pm, at Hogan Lovells in London.
