Leilah Bruton will speak at a two-day conference on Dispute Resolution in the International Energy Business, hosted by the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN) and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).

The conference will provide a platform for leading advocates, counsel, experts and arbitrators in the energy field to explore current developments and best practice in the oil, gas and alternative energy business, with an interactive program of speeches, presentations, interviews, round-table discussions, and Q&As.

Leilah will speak on the “State Investment Disputes” panel, which will present a review of state investment disputes arising from treaties & contracts. The session will focus on recent state investment disputes in the energy sector, the evolving nature of issues commonly in dispute in investor-state arbitrations, and emerging trends in their resolution.

The conference will be held from Wednesday 18 to Thursday 19 October at 116 Pall Mall in London, and Leilah’s panel will take place on 18 October from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm.
