Daryl Chew and Shaun Pereira recently reviewed the book Singapore Private International Law: Commercial Issues and Practice, by Professors Adeline Chong and Yip Man of the Singapore Management University, in the latest issue of the Asian Dispute Review January 2024 published by HKIAC.

The review highlights (i) the timeliness of the publication amidst the shifting landscape of Singapore’s private international law with the introduction of the Rules of Court 2021 and SICC Rules 2021, among other recent legislative developments, and (ii) its relevance to cross-border disputes practice as it seamlessly assimilates the developments, policy considerations and well-established principles that underpin this area of law.
