Three Crowns is pleased to announce that Georgios Petrochilos KC, one of the founding partners of the firm and based in the Paris office, has been designated by the Government of the Hellenic Republic to serve on the Panel of Arbitrators maintained by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). ICSID, an affiliate of the World Bank, is the main international dispute resolution forum administering investor-State disputes.
The designation, made under Article 13(1) of the ICSID Convention, took effect on 6 August 2026 and runs for a six-year term through 6 August 2032.
The ICSID Panel of Arbitrators is made up of individuals nominated by the Centre’s member states to be available to serve as arbitrators in investment disputes brought under the Convention. Georgios is a leading international arbitration practitioner, having represented States, international organisations, and private parties in more than 100 disputes, including at ICSID and other major arbitral institutions.
