Hongchuan Zhang-Krogman has been reappointed to the ICDR Young & International (Y&I) Global Board for the 2026–2029 term, following her service on the 2023–2026 Board.
Launched in 2004, ICDR Y&I is a networking group for arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution practitioners under 40. It is sponsored by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
The ICDR Y&I Board works closely with the ICDR to organise events and conferences. It also advises on Y&I initiatives and helps build regional networks by encouraging membership and raising awareness of Y&I within the wider arbitration community. The 2026–2029 Global Board comprises 30 professionals from around the world.

Hong is a senior associate based in the Washington, DC office. She has experience representing private clients, States and State-owned entities in commercial and treaty arbitrations in the US, Asia, Europe and Latin America, in the technology, energy, aerospace, mining, and telecommunications sectors. She is qualified to practise in Washington, DC, New York and Singapore.
Hong studied law at the University of Cambridge and New York University as a Singapore Public Service Commission scholar, graduating with First Class Honours from Cambridge. She was a Justices’ Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Singapore and, prior to joining private practice, spent several years in Singapore’s Attorney-General’s Chambers representing Singapore in international disputes and negotiations and at international fora.
