Penny Martin will participate in one of the traditional highlights of Australian Arbitration Week, titled “The Annual Great Debate: Which is best – litigation versus arbitration?”, organised by Corrs Chambers Westgarth. The debate will be hosted by David Anthony (Corrs Chambers Westgarth) and Jo Feldman (Corrs Chambers Westgarth), and will also feature Callista Harris (7 Wentworth Selborne), Cameron Sim (Peter & Kim), Domenico Cucinotta (Corrs Chambers Westgarth), Monty Taylor (Tenth Floor Chambers) and Timothy Bunker (Corrs Chambers Westgarth).
The debate will take place on Wednesday 15 October 2025 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm AEDT at Corrs Chambers Westgarth Sydney.

ABOUT PENNY MARTIN
Penny, counsel in the Singapore office, has more than a decade of experience in international commercial arbitration, public international law, and international human rights law. Her primary focus has been on energy-related disputes, including disputes relating to long-term oil and gas agreements (including environmental, abandonment and decommissioning, and cost recovery issues), renewable energy, gas pricing, licensing, and intellectual property.
Penny was named a “Rising Star” in International Arbitration in The Legal 500 UK having been previously recognised as “Highly Regarded”. She received her BA/LLB (Hons) from Monash University and LLM in Public International Law (with Distinction) from the University of Glasgow.
