Sue is an associate in the Singapore office. Her practice focuses on international dispute resolution and public international law. She advises and represents clients, particularly in Asia and Europe, across a range of industries and jurisdictions in commercial and investor-State arbitrations. Sue has experience in both ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations conducted under the DIS, ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, and UNCITRAL Rules.
Sue is admitted to practice in three common law jurisdictions: as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore; a Solicitor-Advocate in England and Wales; and an Attorney in the State of New York. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is a certified HKIAC Tribunal Secretary.
Sue currently serves as Rapporteur (Commercial Arbitration) for the International Bar Association (IBA) Task Force on “The Nationality of the Arbitrator as a Proxy for Independence and Impartiality” and as Assistant Editor to the Managing Editor of the Kluwer Arbitration Blog. She previously served as Group Advisor to Ms Niuscha Bassiri under the Young ICCA Mentorship Programme (2023-2024).
She publishes extensively on topics of international dispute resolution and public international law with various leading dispute resolution blogs and journals.
