Ivan is an associate in the London office. He has extensive experience in advising States, State-owned entities, private corporations, and individuals in complex investor-State and commercial arbitrations under ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, UNCITRAL, LCIA, SIAC and ICC rules. His practice spans a diverse range of industry sectors, with particular focus on oil and gas, mining, construction, transport, and financial services.

Ivan has acted on matters involving clients and projects across Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.

Ivan previously completed an internship at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and a secondment at the Public International Law & Policy Group, where he provided legal advice to States navigating conflict and post-conflict transitions. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of Young Investment Treaty Forum, organised under the patronage of British Institute of International and Comparative Law.

Ivan is admitted to practice in England & Wales. He holds degrees in Russian and international law from MGIMO University and in international dispute resolution from Queen Mary University of London. He also completed his legal studies at the University of Law and BPP.
