Darien is an associate in the Singapore office. He advises state-owned entities and multinational corporations in complex international commercial and investment arbitrations across sectors including energy, mining, technology, aviation, and construction.

Before joining Three Crowns, Darien clerked for Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon and other Justices of the Supreme Court of Singapore, where he worked on applications concerning the setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards.

Darien holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where he was both a Fulbright Scholar and Lee Kuan Yew Scholar, specializing in public international law. He earned his LL.B. from Singapore Management University as a Kwa Geok Choo Scholar, graduating top of the cohort as the Valedictorian.

Darien has published on a range of topics in various Singapore journals such as the Singapore Academy of Law Practitioner, Singapore Journal of Legal Studies and Singapore Comparative Law Review.
