Alexander is an associate in the Paris office. His practice focuses on advising corporates, international investors, and States on dispute resolution and arbitration matters. Alexander has worked on successful client resolutions applying various arbitral rules, including UNICTRAL and ICC arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution processes. Alexander has also advised and represented clients in English court proceedings.
For an arbitration practitioner, Alexander has extensive investigations, transactional and litigation finance related experience. Alexander has advised and represented clients on white-collar matters relating to investigations, sanctions and corporate crime, and M&A transactions, and worked closely with investment funds, insurers, and corporates to utilise litigation finance and litigation risk insurance.
Prior to joining Three Crowns, Alexander was head of contingent and litigation risk at a global insurance broker, where he was responsible for the diligence, structuring, and negotiation of market leading litigation and arbitration risk transactions. Alexander holds an undergraduate degree from the London School of Economies (First Class Honours), postgraduate diplomas in Law and Economics from the University of Birmingham and the University of Cambridge respectively, and an MSc from the University of Law, Bloomsbury (Distinction).
