Our committment to minimising our environmental impact and achieving Net Zero
We recognise that we have an obligation to contribute as a responsible business to support the energy transition. This has been at the heart of several initiatives across our network since the firm was founded in 2014. Three Crowns (Services) LLP, which represents our office in the United Kingdom (“We” or “LLP”), is fully committed to reducing our environmental impact and to achieving Net Zero emissions by latest 2050, in alignment with the UK Government’s statutory target and recognised industry best practices. This plan, produced in line with PPN 06/21, includes details of our UK emissions and will be reviewed annually.
Baseline Emissions Reporting

Emission Reduction Projects and Targets
Three Crowns as a global practice has implemented several initiatives to accomplish our goals. Many of these have been in place for several years, and prior to the publication of the baseline emissions data.
- The firm’s London office is a EPC “A” rated building and scored an unprecedented 96.42% in its BREEAM assessment, not only giving it a rating of Outstanding but making it the most sustainable building in the UK. The building sources it’s energy directly from the Citigen district energy network. Citigen is a world leading, tri-generation network, offering a sustainable, cost effective and progressive heating, cooling and power solution to homes and businesses across the City of London, including the JJ Mack Building.
- Members of staff are encouraged to only use paper when necessary and reduce their overall consumption. We are coordinating across offices to ensure all of the paper that we purchase comes only from recycled sources.
- Members of staff are encouraged to recycle, with each office having recycling facilities in all communal areas for paper, plastic and food waste. Confidential waste is shredded and recycled.
- IT equipment is disposed of in line with legal requirements and where possible donated to charity.
- Use of video-conference facilities for cross-office calls and client meetings is encouraged.
- We are investigating a more effective vendor management system, to ensure that our suppliers work with us to aid our objectives.
Following the publication of 2024″Current Emissions” data we will be in a position to set more measurable percentage projections, with a view to projecting this decrease over the next five years.
