Reza’s panel, scheduled for Tuesday, 15 September at 17:00pm CET, will explore how unpredictable conflict requires agile thinking, adaptability and a growth mindset.  The panellists will cover topics that include:

  • What is the role of firms / in-house counsel in promoting learning?

2020 CPR European Conference on Business Dispute Management

The 2020 CPR European Conference on Business Dispute Management is organized by CPR and its European Advisory Board (EAB) in collaboration with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). The overall theme of this year’s conference is “Learning and Adapting in a VUCA World.”  Panels will include topics such as dispute prevention, learning from disputes, the digitization of disputes and non-financial settlements.

ABOUT REZA MOHTASHAMI QC

Mohtashami has represented clients as counsel and advocate in more than 80 arbitrations conducted under a variety of arbitration rules in many different jurisdictions. He has particular expertise in disputes arising in emerging markets.

Mohtashami is a qualified English solicitor-advocate and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in recognition of his advocacy skills in 2018.  He is as an officer of the IBA Arbitration Committee, trustee of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre, member of the board of trustees of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution, and an editorial board member of the ICC Dispute Resolution Bulletin and Global Arbitration Review.
