Nicola Peart will speak on a panel covering “Hot Topics and Trends in ADR (Appropriate Dispute Resolution)” at the CPR Annual Meeting 2023, hosted by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR). The theme of this year’s conference is “Practical and Innovative Dispute Management Solutions”.

This event brings together the diverse thought leadership of top companies, law firms, lawyers, academics, and leading mediators and arbitrators from around the world to explore trends, best practices, and the latest developments in dispute management.

The panel will include a summary of significant U.S. Supreme Court ADR-related decisions this past year and provide a discussion about other trends in ADR globally.

The event will take place from Wednesday 1 March to Friday 3 March at the Four Seasons New Orleans, and Nicola’s panel will be on Friday 3 March from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm CST.

ABOUT NICOLA PEART

Nicola, a Barrister in the Washington, DC office, practises in all aspects of international dispute resolution. Her experience includes international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, as well arbitration under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and proceedings before the International Court of Justice. She also advises and represents parties in arbitration-related court matters, including before the UK Supreme Court.
