Nicola Peart will speak on the “Imagining the future of international arbitration” panel at the Arb40 Symposium, as part of the IBA Miami Conference 2022. The Symposium will feature a series of debates and Nicola will be arguing in favour of the motion, “This house believes that big law firms will be replaced by boutiques”.

The theme of this year’s symposium is “Unfolding the future of international arbitration: substantive challenges and the rise of a new model”. In addition to looking at the future of international arbitration, it will also explore the current challenges facing the practice.

The event, which is hosted by the IBA Arb40 Subcommittee, is open to practitioners under the age of 40.

It will be held on Sunday 30 October with Nicola’s panel taking place from 2:15 to 3:45pm ET and will be followed by a drinks reception.
