Simon Consedine will speak on a panel at Washington Arbitration Week (WAW) 2025, titled “Choice of Arbitral Seats in the World: What Has Changed and Where Does Washington, D.C. Stand?”
The panel will explore the evolving factors that influence parties’ choice of arbitral seats, including recent trends in enforcement, procedural innovation, judicial support, and perceptions of neutrality. The discussion will also consider Washington, D.C.’s position within the global arbitration landscape.
Simon will speak alongside James Boykin (Hughes Hubbard & Reed), Csaba Rusznak (Sovereign Arbitration Advisors), Nicolle Kownacki (White & Case), and Jonathan Ulrich (Paul Hastings). The session will be moderated by James Boykin and hosted by Hughes Hubbard & Reed at their Washington, DC office.
