Shaparak Saleh to speak on “Navigating career turning points in arbitration” at the CFA40 (Comité Français de l’Arbitrage) Annual Dinner Debate

Shaparak Saleh will speak at this year’s CFA40 (Comité français de l’arbitrage) annual dinner debate for an evening dedicated to career development in arbitration, titled: “Is the grass always greener? Navigating career turning points in arbitration.”

The session will deep dive into key career decisions arbitration practitioners face, from promotions and firm moves to expatriation, moving in-house, or even starting one’s own practice. The discussion will take place in English.

Shaparak will speak alongside Angélica André (Framatome) and Rory Wheeler (rory.legal).

ABOUT SHAPARAK SALEH

Shaparak is a partner in the Paris office. She has acted as counsel in a large number of commercial arbitrations both ad hoc and institutional, including under the ICC, IEMA, LCIA, UNCITRAL, and VIAC rules. Her experience includes post-M&A disputes and disputes in the construction, energy, aeronautics, space, telecommunications, food, chemicals, and pharmaceutical sectors, relating to projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.
