Shaparak Saleh will speak at the debate, “The National Courts’ Stance on Public Policy in International Arbitration”, hosted by CFA40 (Comité français de l’arbitrage) and the Rising Arbitrators Initiative (RAI).
The debate will be a comparative study of the control of international public policy, held over dinner.
Shaparak will provide a perspective from France, with fellow speakers providing viewpoints from Eastern Europe, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The event will take place on Wednesday 7 December at 7:30pm CET, at Les Tourteaux in Paris, France.

Shaparak is a partner in the Paris office. She has acted as counsel in a large number of commercial arbitrations both ad hoc and institutional, including under the ICC, IEMA, LCIA, UNCITRAL, and VIAC rules.
