Shaparak Saleh will speak on the “Corruption Arguments in International Arbitration” panel at the Belt and Road High-level Dialogue on International Commercial Arbitration. She will explore the issue of corruption-related arguments in French seated arbitrations and in annulment and enforcement proceedings in France.
The event is hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), ICC China, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), and the ICC International Court of Arbitration. This will be the fifth edition of the event, which brings together experts from all over the world to discuss cutting-edge issues in the field of international arbitration. It aims to help Chinese enterprises going global to better participate in the further implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, better utilise arbitration services to settle relevant disputes, and better safeguard their legitimate interests.
It will take place virtually on Thursday 8 December from 9:00am to 4:40pm CST. The panel on which Shaparak is speaking will be from 3:00pm to 4:30pm CST.
