Maanas Jain will participate in an Oxford Union style debate at the GAR Live: Dubai 2022 conference.
Maanas will debate the following motion, “This house believes that arbitration should apply a binding doctrine of precedent”. The interactive session will see a panel of judges voice their opinions on what has been heard, consult the audience, and finally choose which side to support, giving reasons for their decisions.
The conference will take place on Wednesday 16 November at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The debate will be from 3:30 to 4:45pm GST.
