Luke Sobota will speak on a panel “Current Perspectives on U.S and Brazilian Corporate Law and Capital Markets”

Luke Sobota will speak on a panel titled “Current Perspectives on U.S and Brazilian Corporate Law and Capital Markets” organized by the Harvard Law School Brazilian Studies Association.

The speakers and panelists will explore recent trends and perspectives on U.S. and Brazilian corporate law and capital markets. Topics include controlling stockholder transactions, corporate dispute resolution, updates on Brazilian law amendments, cross-border deal developments, insolvency rules, and evolving expectations for corporate responsibility in climate, labor, and consumer standards. The session will also address the role of evidence in international arbitration and litigation.

The panel will take place Monday November 18, 2024, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm EST at the office of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. Luke will speak from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

ABOUT LUKE SOBOTA

A founding partner of Three Crowns, Luke represents private and sovereign clients in some of their largest and most important commercial, investor-State, and inter-State arbitrations, including the successful prosecution of one of the largest ICC cases in history. He also has more than 20 years of experience litigating international issues in U.S. courts.
