Luke Sobota will be speaking on the “Enforcement of arbitral awards” panel at GAR Live: New York 2021.
Judicial enforcement of arbitral awards remains a critical area of the practice. In light of efforts to annul and resist the enforcement of an award, the session will look into the realities of having an award upheld in international arbitration.
The panellists will discuss trends in multi-jurisdictional enforcement of arbitral awards, enforcement at the midpoint of a case, new approaches to monetising awards, and recovering the costs of enforcement and interest.
The session, which will take place in-person, will be on Thursday 7 October from 4:00 – 5:15pm ET (-5 BST).
