Laura França Pereira to speak on panel at 8th Brazilian Arbitration Forum

Laura França Pereira will speak at a panel on “Interests and auxiliary remedies in international arbitration in Brazil” as part of the 8th Brazilian Arbitration Forum, which is organised by Sciences Po Law School in partnership with CAM-CCBC – Centro de Arbitragem e Mediação and the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Laura will speak alongside Gabriel Seijo (Partner, Cescon Barrieu Advogados) and Carla Miranda Godoy (Partner, Vieira Rezende Advogados), with Renato Grion (Partner, Pinheiro Neto Advogados) moderating the session.

The conference will take place on Thursday 11 September, from 2:45 pm to 7:20 pm, and will be held at Sciences Po Paris.

ABOUT LAURA FRANÇA PEREIRA 

Laura is a senior associate in the Madrid office. She specialises in international commercial and investor-State arbitration and has extensive experience acting in complex and high-value disputes across a range of sectors, including banking & finance, energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, aerospace, and food & beverages. Laura has acted in proceedings under several arbitration rules, including ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, AAA-ICDR, and CAM-CCBC.

Laura has been ranked as a “Future Leader” for arbitration by Who’s Who Legal and as a “Recommended Lawyer” for International Arbitration by Legal 500 in its Latin America ranking.

Laura holds an LLM from Harvard Law School and an LLB from University of São Paulo, where she graduated first in her class. She studied at Sciences Po Paris, as part of her Bachelor’s degree program, where she graduated summa cum laude.
