Hamid Abdulkareem will moderate the “International Arbitration in Africa – Perspectives of In-House Counsel and Other Arbitration Users” session at the 6th ICC Africa Conference on International Arbitration.
The panellists will share practical experiences and insights on a range of arbitration issues. Topics will include the appointment of arbitrators, choice of seats and arbitral institutions, and the benefits, costs, and challenges of arbitrating disputes in Africa.
The conference, which will take place in person at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos, Nigeria, as well as online, will be on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 June.

ABOUT HAMID ABDULKAREEM
Hamid, counsel in the London office, is an experienced arbitration practitioner and litigator, having regularly advised multinational companies on an extensive range of disputes.
