Georgios Petrochilos KC and Reza Mohtashami KC have co-authored an op-ed piece, ‘Rights of Credit Suisse foreign shareholders must be addressed following UBS merger’, which is published in The Times Law section today.
In the piece, Georgios and Reza consider the international law rights and remedies of protected shareholders in Credit Suisse following the bank’s forced merger with UBS under the direction of the Swiss authorities.

ABOUT GEORGIOS PETROCHILOS KC
Georgios has a broad practice spanning more than two decades and covering inter-State, investment, and commercial disputes. He has represented States, international organisations, and private parties in more than 70 disputes, including several appearances in the International Court of Justice.

Reza is a partner in the London office. He has represented clients as counsel and advocate in more than 90 arbitrations conducted under a variety of arbitration rules in many different jurisdictions. Reza has particular expertise in disputes arising in emerging markets with a focus on the telecoms, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Reza is a trustee of the Bahrain Chamber of Dispute Resolution, a member of the LCIA Court, and an editorial board member of Global Arbitration Review.
