Farouk El-Hosseny will be speaking at the “Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy Dispute Resolution in MESEA” webinar, hosted by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi Global Market Arbitration Centre (ADGMAC).
The panellists will discuss resolving energy disputes, covering the important factors, war stories, and legal strategies that affect risk management in major energy projects, gas pricing disputes, and renewable technologies. The discussions will range from energy industry insights, contemporary legal principles in energy disputes, efficient conduct of investor-State dispute settlement and commercial arbitrations, to challenges and enforcement of arbitral awards in the MESEA region.
The event features as part of a series covering a range of industry sectors, including Islamic finance, third-party funding, construction, energy, and FinTech and complex technology.

Farouk, a senior associate in the London office, advises clients on arbitrations governed by the ICC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules, with a focus on complex commercial and investor-State disputes in the telecommunications and oil and gas sectors.
