Daryl Chew to judge the GAR Live Debate in Singapore

Events 21st August 2025

Daryl Chew will judge the GAR Live Debate, as part of the GAR Live: Singapore 2025 conference, organised in conjunction with Singapore Convention Week.

The debaters will argue in favour of or against the motion: “This House believes that the pro-arbitration policy has gone too far, lacks consensus, and no longer reflects what users want; the time has therefore come to reverse it”.

Daryl will judge the debate alongside Judith Levine (Levine Arbitration) and Neeti Sachdeva (MCIA). The debaters are Doug Jones (Singapore International Commercial Court), Jelita Pandjaitan (Linklaters), Ritin Rai SA (7KBW) and Aditya Singh (White & Case).

The debate will take place on Thursday 28 August from 4:10 to 5:10 pm SGT at Sofitel Singapore City Centre.
