Carmen Martinez Lopez will sit on the tribunal for an Oxford-style debate, in which debaters will argue in favour of, or against, the motion “An arbitral tribunal’s decision should bind other arbitral tribunals subsequently deciding on the same issue(s) of fact or law”.
The session, which will be hosted by the American Society of International Law (ASIL) as part of New York Arbitration Week, will take place virtually on Monday 15 November from 2:30 – 4:00pm ET (7:30 – 9:00pm GMT).
