Manish Aggarwal will be speaking on a panel “Extending the Roots of Arbitration: Environment, Animal Conservation, and Climate Crisis” at the Asia ADR Week 2021.

The session, which will take place on Thursday 19 August at 5:00pm – 6:30pm MYT (10:00am – 11:30am BST), will discuss the multiple dimensions of ADR in facilitating the resolution of environmental disputes arising under commercial agreements and investment treaties and in raising awareness of pressing environmental, corporate responsibility, and climate crisis issues.

The two-day conference will be hosted by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and will take place virtually from Thursday 19 to Friday 20 August 2021. The theme of this year’s event is “ADR in a Kaleidoscope: Beyond What Meets the Eye” and will cover a range of topics relating to the changing landscape of ADR, including diversity and sustainability.
