Kathryn Khamsi will be speaking on the “Volatile Oil Prices and Disputes” panel at GAR Live: Energy Disputes, which will look at the oil industry’s last year and what can be expected going forward.

The panel will explore a range of pressing questions and disputes that arise in their regard, including the price shifts and risk allocation mechanisms, and will also look ahead to exit routes. In that context, Kathryn will be discussing economic terms and stabilisation clauses in host state contracts, as well as the OPEC+ production cuts. Under the “exit route” rubric, she will also be explaining the evolution of emissions cap and trade schemes, and the disputes that may arise in their regard.
