Kathryn Khamsi will moderate the “Emissions Trading in Asia: Opportunities, Risks and Disputes” webinar, hosted by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

Against the backdrop of the Paris Agreement, the panellists will describe emissions trading schemes and their role in meeting climate chance objectives, set out the state of play in Asia in general and Singapore in particular, explore the particular risks and opportunities arising from these schemes, and how these risks are allocated and managed in a variety of legal instruments. The panellists will go onto consider the current and future landscape of disputes in this area and the role of arbitration in resolving such disputes.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday 28 June from 3:00pm to 4:15pm SGT / 8:00am to 9:15am BST.
