Ilija Mitrev Penushliski will be speaking on the panel “Investment protection in times of climate change: the future of the Energy Charter Treaty” at Luxembourg Arbitration Day 2021,  which will be hosted by the Luxembourg Arbitration Association. The discussion, which will explore climate change and the Energy Charter Treaty’s modernisation agenda, investment protection against the States’ right to regulate the energy sector, and whether Investor-State dispute settlement is a challenge to the European Union’s constitutional framework, will take place on Wednesday 30 June at 3:00pm – 4:15pm CEST (BST + 1).
