Ilija Mitrev Penushliski recently spoke on the “ECT Modernization and Energy Transition in the Western Balkans: What lies ahead?” panel at the 8th Sarajevo Arbitration Day.

Ilija discussed the context in which a number of European States decided to leave the ECT system and what this may mean for the future of investment protection.

The event, which covered cutting-edge issues in international arbitration for energy and construction disputes, took place in person on Wednesday 23 November in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
