Elizabeth Chan will participate in the upcoming webinar “Session II: Yes or no: the global SARS-COVID-19 pandemic should have no impact on the valuation of expropriations that occurred before 2020?” as part of the Fifteenth Annual Investment Treaty Arbitration: A Debate & Discussion. The session, which will take place on Thursday, 13 May at 10:30 am – 12:00 pm ET, will take the form of a debate, followed by comments from commentators. Elizabeth will act as one of the two debaters, arguing the “no” side, that the global SARS-COVID-19 pandemic should have no impact on the valuation of expropriations that occurred before 2020.
