Agustin G. Sanz will speak at the inaugural International Conference on Public Contracts, hosted by the Universidad Austral in Argentina.

Agustin will speak on “Nuevas tendencias del arbitraje de inversión en Latinoamérica” (“New investment arbitration trends in Latin America”), in a panel that will focus on new trends in public procurement and associated dispute resolution mechanisms.

The conference, which will be in Spanish, will comprise open and dynamic discussions with national and international experts, focussing on issues relevant to to the challenges of public procurement and public contracts.

The event will take place in person at Universidad Austral and online via Zoom on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 November. Agustin’s panel will be at 5:05pm ART / 8:05pm GMT / 3:05pm ET on 9 November.

Agustin is counsel in the Washington, DC office. He has extensive experience of both international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations involving disputes in a broad range of sectors, including infrastructure, oil and gas, energy and power grids, water treatment, public works, sovereign debt, and agribusiness.
