Laura França Pereira to speak at CIArb roundtable on “Document Production in International Arbitration”

Laura França Pereira will speak at “Document production in International Arbitration: A roundtable in search of best practices”, hosted by CIArb Brazil Branch and CIArb Iberian Chapter.

Laura will participate in a roundtable discussion on “The limits of document production: relevance, confidentiality, and privileges”, alongside fellow speakers Ricardo Aprigliano (Demarest), Jalal “Jil” El Ahdab (Fidal), Karina Goldberg (FCDG), Mohammed Abdel Wahab (Zulficar), Nazareth Romero (Ovoli Romero), and Philippa Charles (Twenty Essex). Lucas Mendes (Laudelino Advogados) will moderate the discussion.

The event will take place on Wednesday 15 April at 5:00pm, and will be held at the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación de España in Madrid.

About Laura França Pereira

Laura is a senior associate in the Madrid office. She specialises in international commercial and investor-State arbitration and has extensive experience acting in complex and high-value disputes across a range of sectors, including banking & finance, energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, aerospace, and food & beverages. Laura has acted in proceedings under several arbitration rules, including ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, AAA-ICDR, and CAM-CCBC.

Laura has been ranked as a “Future Leader” for arbitration by Lexology Index and as a “Recommended Lawyer” for International Arbitration by Legal 500 in its Latin America ranking.

Laura holds an LLM from Harvard Law School and an LLB from University of São Paulo, where she graduated first in her class. She studied at Sciences Po Paris, as part of her Bachelor’s degree program, where she graduated summa cum laude.
