Aarushi Nargas and Hafsa Ahmad participated in the finals of the cross-examination course and oral submissions course of the ROAP Americas 2025-26 edition, respectively. They appeared before an esteemed panel of arbitrators comprising of Ms. Lucinda Low (President), Mr. Gonzalo Flores and Ms. Katherine González Arrocha.
Hafsa was named as the Best Advocate Overall and was part of the winning team of the oral submissions course.
Aarushi was the runner-up in the cross-examination course.
ABOUT AARUSHI NARGAS
Aarushi is a Special Legal Consultant in the Washington, DC office. She has experience in international commercial arbitrations across a range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, and intellectual property.
Prior to joining Three Crowns, Aarushi clerked with Chief Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud at the Supreme Court of India, where she worked on commercial, arbitration, and constitutional law matters. She also has prior experience of working at the judicial chambers of the United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals in The Hague and as an associate in the projects and infrastructure practice of a domestic commercial law firm in India.
Aarushi holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where her focus was on international commercial and investment arbitration and public international law. She served as the Vice President of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association and as a member of the board of the Harvard International Law Journal. She also holds an LL.B. from National Law University Jodhpur, where she graduated with a gold medal for her outstanding achievements in moot court competitions.
ABOUT HAFSA AHMAD
Hafsa is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office. She has experience representing private corporations and state-owned companies in international commercial arbitrations, including under the LCIA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules.
Hafsa holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, she was President of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association and article editor at the Harvard Human Rights Journal.
Hafsa obtained her LL.B. from the University of London at the University College Lahore campus. She graduated at the top of her class and represented Pakistan in the 2017 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Hafsa also received a B.A. from Middlebury College in International Politics and Economics, with a minor in Art History.
