Farouk El-Hosseny will speak at a panel on the topic, Damages in Arbitration: The Quantum Toolbox, as part of the 11th Madrid Vis Pre-Moot. The session is hosted by Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje (CEIA‑40), ACMEY Mooting Society and MAD VYAP – Madrid Very Young Arbitration Practitioners.
Farouk will speak alongside Thaysa Panza de Paula (Baker Botts), Gustavo Mata Morreo (Mayer Brown), Iria Camba Flórez de Losada (Compass Lexecon), with Víctor J. Lana (Gómez‑Acebo & Pombo) moderating the discussion. Panellists will share their insights on current developments in the assessment of damages and the increasingly significant role of expert evidence in arbitration.
The panel will take place on Tuesday 24 February 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:30pm, at the offices of Gómez‑Acebo & Pombo in Madrid, and will be followed by a drinks reception.
