Reza Mohtashami KC to speak at GAR Live: London 2025

Reza Mohtashami KC will be speaking at GAR Live: London 2025, joining a panel discussion on “Current geopolitics and its implications for international arbitration”.

This flagship event, hosted by Global Arbitration Review, brings together leading arbitration practitioners from the UK, Europe, and beyond, including arbitrators, counsel, funders, expert witnesses, and senior in-house lawyers to debate the latest trends and developments shaping international arbitration.

In this session, esteemed panellists will explore how the changed political backdrop is likely to lead to new disputes, and what type, along with changing the tactics used in existing ones.

Reza will speak alongside Jacomijn van Haersolte-van Hof (Fountain Court), Vladimir Khvalei (Mansors), Andrea Pinna (Pinna Goldberg), with Joshua Kelly (Freshfields) moderating.

The conference will be held on Wednesday 15 October, from 9:00 am to 5:25 pm, with Reza’s panel taking place from 10:15 am to 11:30 am.

ABOUT REZA MOHTASHAMI KC

Reza is a partner in the London office. He has represented clients as counsel and advocate in more than 90 arbitrations conducted under a variety of arbitration rules in many different jurisdictions. Reza has particular expertise in disputes arising in emerging markets with a focus on the telecoms, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Reza regularly acts as arbitrator and has been appointed as party-nominated arbitrator, Chair or Sole Arbitrator in more than 20 arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, ICDR-AAA, SIAC, DIAC, DIFC-LCIA Rules.
