Hugh Carlson to speak on the “Arbitration and Technology” panel at the 40th Anniversary Conference for QMUL School of International Arbitration

Hugh Carlson will join the panel on “Arbitration and Technology” at the 40th anniversary conference for the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) School of International Arbitration.

The landmark conference will explore arbitration as an academic discipline in the context of economy, sociology, philosophy, regulation and history. It will also explore how arbitration has adapted to evolving global events: geographic, economic and technological.

The “Arbitration and Technology” panel will cover AI, privacy, and security, among other timely topics. Hugh’s co-panellists are Professor Maxi Scherer (QMUL) (moderator), Clement Fouchard (Reed Smith), Greg Falkof (Mishcon de Reya), and Ana Vermal (Proskauer Rose).

ABOUT HUGH CARLSON

Hugh Carlson is the Chief Executive Officer of Three Crowns, in which capacity he is responsible for the firm’s global operations and helps shape its strategy. He also serves as General Counsel to the firm.

A litigator by background, Hugh has represented large multinationals and sovereigns in their complex, high stakes disputes. He holds the leading certification in information security, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
