Prior to joining Three Crowns, Nick was lead counsel for the Government of Canada in large-scale investment treaty and trade disputes and in the negotiation of Free Trade Agreements and Bilateral Investment Treaties. He teaches international investment law as an Adjunct Lecturer at Queens University, Canada, and has published on the subject in the leading academic journals. He is the author of The Temporal Jurisdiction of International Tribunals (Oxford University Press, 2017) and has been retained as an expert on the subject in a major investment treaty dispute.
