María Juliana is an associate in the London office, specializing in international commercial arbitration, investor state disputes, and public international law.

She has experience in a number of disputes, including those conducted under the ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL rules.

María Juliana has experience of working on high value and complex cases in the oil & gas, mining and general industries sectors.  She has represented clients against Latin American and European States, including two treaty claims arising from the cancellation of mining licenses and the retroactive legislative reform in the renewable energies sector. She has previously acted on matters that considered aspects of European Law. Maria Juliana has also advised victims in cases before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
