César is an International Associate in the London office, and a dual-qualified New York and Ecuadorian lawyer.
César has acted in a variety of domestic and international disputes, including representing multinational companies in investor-state and commercial arbitrations, as well as before Ecuadorian courts. He has advised clients from the telecommunications, energy, mining, infrastructure and consumer goods sectors, among others. In addition to practicing as a disputes lawyer, he has experience in corporate law and in public and administrative law, including competition law.
Prior to joining Three Crowns, César practised at a leading law firm in Ecuador. He has also worked at the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs and at the National Constituent Assembly of Ecuador, the body in charge of drafting the new Constitution of Ecuador in 2008. He has lectured on international law at various universities in Ecuador.
