Ben has experience acting in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations conducted under institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules, involving disputes across a range of industry sectors.

Prior to joining Three Crowns, Ben practised for over three years in a specialist arbitration and litigation firm in Auckland, New Zealand. He has advised and represented clients in a variety of industries, including banking, construction, finance and insurance, and appeared as sole or junior counsel in a number of court proceedings.

Ben is admitted in New Zealand, and holds degrees from the University of Auckland, where he won both the university and New Zealand mooting competitions, and Stanford Law School (as a Fulbright Scholar).
