Ashutosh specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration. Prior to working with Three Crowns, he has worked and studied in Asia, Europe and the US.

Ashutosh was an expert committee member to the Law Commission of India (an executive body established by the Government of India) for its 246th Report to recommend changes to Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the 260th Report to recommend amendments to the Indian Model Bilateral Investment Treaty. He has clerked with a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India where he assisted him in high-value complex arbitrations under rules of prominent international institutions across various industries, expert legal opinions to foreign courts, and consultations to parliamentarians.

Ashutosh has been a recipient of a number of scholarships and awards, including the prestigious Addison Brown Prize at the Harvard Law School. He has published in international journals and has written op-eds for national newspapers in India.

Ashutosh holds LL.Ms from Harvard and University of Geneva and Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Switzerland.  He has a B.A., LL.B (Hons), Gujarat National Law University, India and is admitted to practice in India.
