Three Crowns LLP, the world’s first global arbitration law firm, has promoted three partners across its three offices: Manish Aggarwal (London), Simon Elliot (Paris), and Liz Snodgrass (Washington, DC).

The geographic spread of the three new partners reflects the firm’s strategy to invest and grow in each region in which it operates.

The promotions also represent the firm’s commitment to providing growth opportunities to advocates of the highest calibre. Each of the three partners has, in their time with the firm, demonstrated an unwavering dedication to the firm’s values and the clients whom they represent.

Manish has represented corporations and States in complex, high-value commercial and investment treaty arbitrations in a broad range of sectors, including telecommunications, technology, pharmaceuticals, energy, infrastructure, and renewables, under all major arbitration rules.  He is a dual-qualified English solicitor and Indian advocate.  Simon has represented clients in numerous proceedings conducted under the rules of all major arbitral institutions and in ad hoc arbitration, with a particular focus on disputes arising out of large infrastructure, and other major, projects.  He is qualified in New Zealand.  Liz has acted in more than 40 commercial and investment treaty arbitration matters across all major arbitral rules, and focuses on the upstream energy, mining, aerospace and telecoms sectors.  She is qualified in Washington, DC and England & Wales (pending).

In addition, Ben Jones, based in Washington, DC, has been promoted to Counsel.  He has significant experience advising and representing parties in complex, high-value commercial and investment treaty arbitrations in a broad range of sectors, including energy and infrastructure, joint ventures/shareholders’ agreements, defense, financial transactions, and technology.

Three Crowns Executive Partner Todd Wetmore said of the three new partners: “We are delighted to welcome Manish, Simon, and Liz to the partnership.  They each embody the values of excellence in advocacy and collegiality to which our firm aspires.  Their promotion reflects not only the strength of our practice today, but our aspirations for tomorrow.”

The promotions see Three Crowns grow to 13 partners.  The firm was founded in April 2014 by six high-profile partners who shared a commitment to the practice of international arbitration and public international law at the highest level of excellence.
